pictures

It has been a busy fall & I've gotten behind on blogging. I've posted some new pics on Flickr (Benjamin's dedication, some fall pics of the boys, etc.) Also, check out our photo shoot with Brooke Robinson. Click on the portrait side & select proofs. The password is: davis family. She is a fabulous photographer & worked wonders with us. It was a challenge getting Drew to cooperate. Please feel free to help us select pictures. I wish we could get all 103!

cheese & cookies

Here are some random pics of our life in the last week:

This is Benjamin at about 7 weeks. He just started smiling. (And no, his neck isn't broken. He is, however, working really hard on holding his head up.)

We attempted to take our 3rd annual fall pictures with the Henry's. Neither one of our boys cooperated very well. We are on location at the Harbor Meadows. Check out Flickr for more pics.

Drew follows me around these days like a lost puppy dog. It's sweet, but can get annoying. So when I had to bake some cookies for a fall festival, I let him help. He did a little pouring, stirring, & cutting out the dough with the cookie cutters.

halloween 07

This was a fun Halloween. Last year Drew had a double ear infection & he almost didn't even dress up. This year he was Drew Bear in full bear fashion. Benjamin was our sweet little duckling. We celebrated with the Kelleys & McGoodens with some trick-or-treating, a fire, & hot cider. The weather was perfect - just cool enough to know it's fall, but not so cold you're miserable. At the first house we went to, Drew tried to walk right in. He wouldn't say trick-or-treat, but was always treated anyway. It actually brought a little tear to my eye when we started out (don't laugh) - I just couldn't believe I was out trick-or-treating with my two precious sons. Life really catches you by surprise. I'm hoping one day, in our near-debt-free-life, the whole family can all dress up in some hokey theme. Just a dream of mine (again, don't laugh).
