finally...
So I've been busy, tired, & protesting. Busy & tired being a mommy & just protesting our website. I was trying to make myself sort through some pictures I needed to print before I did any posting on the website. So I finally gave up. I know there are lots of family out there looking for a new peek into Drew's life (& possibly ours???). :-) I love the immediacy of digital cameras, but miss getting to develop film. I was much better at keeping up with film than getting digital pics printed.
Anyway, on to this particular post. We drove down to Houston (Deer Park to be exact) to visit my family about three weeks ago. My parents were gracious enough to organize a couple of days in Galveston. This was Drew's first trip to the beach &, as you can imagine, he loved every second of it. Playing in the shallow part of the water his his absolute favorite. He also enjoyed some digging in the sand & floating out in the deeper water with Daddy & Papa Donnie. I had been missing seagulls &, yes, that fishy, saltwater smell. All three of us had some sinus issues as soon as we hit the smog of H-town, but it didn't seem to stop Drew. It unfortunately slowed me down & made me cranky. But, overall, fun was had by all.
