fall fun

I've been a little behind in posting pics so here's what's new with the Davis':

Last week Drew went on a photo shoot with his friends Parker & Jane at Mount Sequoyah. They get to hang out with each other at least once a week.

Here's pics from this weekend's annual Grabow Family Reunion. It was held at the Sequoyah State Park in Wagoner, Oklahoma.

David, Drew, & I with his parents & sister & her family.

Drew with his cousins Cambry, Sydney, & Nathan. They were all born within a year of each other.

Drew's cousins, Travis, Michael, & Davis, reading him a bedtime story.

On Sunday, we headed out to hike Hawksbill Crag. We were exhausted from a busy weekend, but didn't want to miss the leaves before they all fell.

Drew slept for the first 30 to 45 minutes of the hike. He just hung in the bjorn like a rag doll.

This is David & Drew out on "the crag" enjoying the view.

Drew really enjoyed the nature at the crag while we took a rest.

nine months

Drew has lived as long outside the womb as he was inside. I don't know why that seems so interesting to me, but it does.

I know I say it a lot lately, but Drew is really growing & changing. He's crawling all over the place as well as pulling up & cruising on anything he can reach. Last week he starting clapping (check out his video). He loves to play with his friends & eat their snacks. You can't eat or drink anything around him without him wanting a taste. His daddy loves to share his cranberry juice/lemonade mixture with him.

texas tech homecoming

We traveled to Lubbock over the weekend for Tech's Homecoming. Even though we lost the game, it was a good time just being at our old stomping grounds again reminiscing about dorm rooms, walks across campus, attacking birds, Lubbock dirt, etc., etc. It was also a good time visiting with family and friends. Drew especially enjoyed playing with his cousins.
